Food, Food and Ending of School Holidays

[This post was delayed because my dad's laptop is old, and almost died, but my husband repaired it and now it's working fine again!]

Yesterday, after that disappointing trip to the pasar pagi, the day got happier because.. FOOD!!

Since I didn't get my fix of Wantan Mee yet.. That was dinner!

No idea what's for dinner tonight as yet, but will go see my grandmother after dinner...

Oh goodness, just realized that it's Friday.. which means the school holidays are coming to an end.. gah.. then it's back to boring routine once more.. some kids hate school, but thankfully my eldest looooooooooooooooves going to school

You know how some kids try and ponteng as much as they can.. get on their parents nerves by giving us really cannot pakai kinda excuses? 

[I have to beg my daughter to stay home!! and she still says NO!!]

My nephew for one had a brilliant excuse a few weeks ago.. he's 3 by the way..

D: I cannot go school today, I need to see the Dr

His mother: Why?

D: My backside pain.

I swear I would have laughed out loud there and then... which would not have helped sis in law in any way hahahhahahahah

Hmm.. My dad has not said anything blog-able today hahaahaha. think he's trying to control himself.. yesterday he threatened to throw his slipper (in the morning) AND fork at me (during lunch)

Child abuse. 



Anyway, I'm sorry if I've made you hungry with this post.

Not really sorry but still need to have manners and apologize

So after that really long hiatus due to The Eldest's final exams, I finally have the time to sit and blog about absolutely nothing at all.. once again... Oh God the exam stress was really bad for me but then again maybe I brought this onto myself.. by having kids. I know.. I know.. many others would say just let her go and do the exams  but as a parent, shouldn't we help them prepare for it if we know that it would help them a lot more? For me it was the cooking 3-4 meals a day that really made me tired!!!  Coz brain food needs to be shoved into every brain cell for at least a month nearing exam periods....  Now, she can live off junk food for a while.... So far the very few results that she's gotten back are alright.. but then I realized her teacher's kinda have higher expectations than me! And mine are already sky high. Kids, Kids and Kids.

It's Monday. Nothing happened yesterday. It was a typical Sunday in this household. Woke up early, sent the eldest for Taekwondo, came home, did laundry, went out for lunch, came back, was on my Kindle for most of the day.. finished off two books! ( yes I am a bookworm) Eldest has a history project that is due on the 12th.. but she finished it off yesterday so she has time to let her teacher check through it and correct it if there are any mistakes. Have you ever realized that going out, or the prep before going out takes way much longer when you have kids? Before kids.. going out consists of about 10 minutes where you just change your clothes and **poof** you're out the door. After kids.... wake them up, shower the youngest, give them some food in case they get hungry on the way out, pack their water bottles, wonder where your phone is, about to leave then your youngest decides " Oh! Uncle Maurice, Grandma, Additional Ink and Backbone

Today, The 22nd of January, is my Late Uncle Maurice's Birthday... the weather kinda sums up my mood.. gloomy.. rainy... that sorta feeling... I miss him whole lot but I know he's having a blast where ever he is... Happy Birthday Uncle Mau! You Seybok! In conjunction with his birthday, and my Grandma's in March.. also in loving memory of them.. I got this done during the weekend. Blue, is grandma, and it also represents luck...  Red is Uncle Maurice, and it also represents eternal happiness... But I swear the next time I do something that reminds me of someone... THEY ARE NOT GETTING IT IN COLOUR BECAUSE IT REALLY HURTS AND STAB DIE ME.
