Uncle Maurice, Grandma, Additional Ink and Backbone

Today, The 22nd of January, is my Late Uncle Maurice's Birthday... the weather kinda sums up my mood.. gloomy.. rainy... that sorta feeling... I miss him whole lot but I know he's having a blast where ever he is... Happy Birthday Uncle Mau! You Seybok! In conjunction with his birthday, and my Grandma's in March.. also in loving memory of them.. I got this done during the weekend. Blue, is grandma, and it also represents luck...  Red is Uncle Maurice, and it also represents eternal happiness... But I swear the next time I do something that reminds me of someone... THEY ARE NOT GETTING IT IN COLOUR BECAUSE IT REALLY HURTS AND STAB DIE ME. I'm Sorry!!! REALLY!!! BUT I HAVE REASONS!

Hello everyone! I know I have been neglecting   my blog recently but there are 1020392190723985427 reasons why!! The Youngest has started kindy and so my day now begins at 5.45am There's the preparing breakfast and sending The Eldest off to school, coming back and getting The Youngest up and ready, sending her off, marketing, laundry, prepping lunch, picking them up, lunch, making sure homework is done, prepping dinner, dinner and making sure they are asleep early and not at some ungodly time! Tons of things have happened since the last time I updated this space...  Let's start with Christmas. Christmas this year.. well... Hmm... wasn't that happening really... maybe this is how we start feeling once we get older and no one can hang around for hours on end anymore?  Christmas Eve dinner was a feast tho!! Ahhh I finally managed to complete my McDonald's Happy Meal Pokemon Collection!!  Damn Pikachu was sold out in mere hours.. But after sending an SOS messages to The Sister and Cousins..  Pikachu is now MINE!! Seriously, to the people who buy happy meals.. don't just buy one toy.. you can't just say "oh I only want Pikachu.."  what about totodile, meowth, magikarp and the rest of them?  DONT BE SELFISH!!! Mess, Relationships and Humans.

Ohhh I am soooo annoyed today!!!  I just did a quick clean up of the house and realized what a mess we're living in. Does no one else see this except for me???? God this is so pissing off. What's the point of clearing up when it's only going to get back to the state it was in less than a week?  But its all about Growing the hell up and living like a human being and not someone that came out of a garbage center. Seeing the mess sometimes makes me want to bawl my eyes out.  How did this happen? I don't remember seeing this kinda crap when I was growing up. I clear, and within a week the mess reappears!!!!..... Does this make sense to anyone????? Anyway, mess aside as talking about it infuriates me to no end. Relationships. Awards, Hospital, School Holidays, Birthdays and Mimi Zarina The Science Teacher

Wow, it's been a while since I've updated and these are the reasons why. Remember in my last post I mentioned that all of us were down with that food poisoning/ stomach bug? Well, it didn't just stop there but I'll get to that in a minute. November 22nd, the day The Eldest did us all proud.. woke her up at about 11am and told her to have a shower and have her lunch as we were going to her Award Ceremony at 2pm.. First question she asks me.. " Mummy... today wear uniform ah?" OH MY GOODNESS CHILD!! this isn't her first award ceremony either!!! Anyway, got there about 2.30pm and she was due to go on stage about 3pm-ish.. These were the awards she received. She really outdid herself this time bagging so many awards and 5 out of 6 core subjects too! Super proud parent  moment. Was hilarious when she went up on stage to get the awards as she had to do a balancing act so that she wouldn't drop any of her trophies....

Thailand, Bacterial Infection and Award Ceremony

So we were in Thailand during the weekend but we couldn't enjoy much as one by one we were attacked by the bloody Bacterial infection..  Vomiting and the runs..  Started with The Husband, then The Eldest, Myself and then The Youngest... Rushed back to see the Dr and we have a mini pharmacy at home right now.  The Husband and the Youngest are still not feeling too good so there's me, keeping watch like a hawk. I feel like a zombie. Every time I try to sleep and The Youngest makes a sound, I wake up and check on her.  Then there's the Fat Orange cat who freaking meows outside our door because he's an attention seeker. Had to use all the patience in me not to throw him out of the house this morning. Yesterday, The Eldest went for her Award Ceremony.. Babysitters, Prison, and Freedom for Kids?

This morning, I woke up and saw this: How? Why? What?  Are people really so mental these days that they take out their sexual tension on infants? On kids? What kind of psychopaths are these so called human beings... She's 9 months old... can you imagine? Even adults who get raped go through massive trauma (if they survive and not get murdered in the process).. Can anyone imagine what sort of pain a 9 month old baby girl had to go through? No one. Not you. Not me. No one will ever know. How do parents find a proper babysitter for their child? Like the mum of this girl said, when she went to visit the babysitter, all was fine and good.. because the babysitter's husband was not around while she was there... maybe if she saw his bloody face it would have made a difference.  For me, I honestly don't trust anyone with my kids.. That's why I've been a stay at home mum for 10 years now and I'm not going to go back to the hectic life of work anytim...

Deepavali, BBQ, and More than 2 Kids.

That was a fantastic long weekend!!! Deepavali was great. Had a BBQ and The Sister, Brother in Law, Uncle and cousins came by...  made lots of noise, ate a great deal of food, laughter, annoying each other... the usual stuff.. I love it when we get together... you know how they say that your siblings and cousins are your first friends? Well, that's true!! Of course, now that we're older.. the even older generation gets teased and annoyed to no end... Just ask Uncle Duncan... kena kacau maximum on Tuesday hahahahhahahahah I had to disappear halfway thru as was feeling like crap thanks to all the garlic I had to breathe in while The Husband was preparing marinades and stuff.. Think I'm a vampire... Whole body just felt like it was going to explode and nostrils hurt... Am okay now but next time there's a ton of garlic involved, I'm gonna wear a face mask. I have been observing people with more than 2 kids lately, and weirdly most of these kids see...

Horror Stories, Chicken Rice and Humans.

Can you watch horror/supernatural flicks on tv or at the movies?  I can't.. or rather I won't.. I've actually never watched a horror film (I think) Unless you count Psycho and The Shining which I was forced to watch in Uni for Film and Television... Hated every minute of it!!!  Imagine needing to do research on them after that.. gave me nightmares for a good week or so..  I know many people who love horror films.. and then have trouble sleeping for the next month.. and going to the toilet requires a whole bus load of followers "just in case" Why? Why do people do that to themselves? Then start sleeping with the lights on, and paying double their electricity bill?!!! Is it the thrill of getting scared? Kesian  your heart wei.... I'm Baaaaaaack

So after that really long hiatus due to The Eldest's final exams, I finally have the time to sit and blog about absolutely nothing at all.. once again... Oh God the exam stress was really bad for me but then again maybe I brought this onto myself.. by having kids. I know.. I know.. many others would say just let her go and do the exams  but as a parent, shouldn't we help them prepare for it if we know that it would help them a lot more? For me it was the cooking 3-4 meals a day that really made me tired!!!  Coz brain food needs to be shoved into every brain cell for at least a month nearing exam periods....  Now, she can live off junk food for a while.... So far the very few results that she's gotten back are alright.. but then I realized her teacher's kinda have higher expectations than me! And mine are already sky high.
