Selamat Hari Kebangsaan ke 61 !! This year, it's special. For every Malaysian out there. Mengaku ke tidak , we're a much happier country these days. Take yesterday for example, Eldest had   Perarakan Ambang Merdeka  where they walked around the outside area of their school taman  with their Malaysia Flags... People were honking and giving them the thumbs up!! I can imagine the noise they made when they all shouted MERDEKA!! Then there's my brother in law.. who sings with  penuh semangat  but lirik salah  [I still sayang you] Sitting here watching my Jalur Gemilang berkibar dengan cantiknya..   with the Bunkface theme song for this Merdeka playing.. semangat #SayangiMalaysiaku berkobar-kobar Have a safe, happy and wonderful day everyone! I received a video a few days back, and I'm not going to lie.. it made me sorta cry.. Why? Because it's true! watch it and tell me you didn't choke up  It has soooo much feels man... We live in such a multi racial country that everyone and anyone most definitely can speak at least 2 languages, and surely have friends from other races. Families too!! Like mine!! Rojak  habis! People tend to ask, how do you all go out for makan together? Have you honestly not heard of the term, give and take? If ada non halal, we make sure to tell the halal people la DUH. Or we just go to safe places so everyone can enjoy. Find common ground. Like the video, we are more Sama than Lain (but I am lain-lain because I'm weird like that) In school for example, I had all sorts of friends, crazy, emo, gedik.. eh.. salah (but yes my friends were all that also la) Chinese, Indian, Sikh, Malay.. Semua ada!!! ex boyfriends also same :p I am happy that ...

So the youngest one decides to wake up at 6.45am today..  God help me survive throughout this Wednesday Super lazy to cook lunch for the kids so decided to go cari makan for them..  EVERYWHERE CLOSE...  WHY LA!! Got the elder one up and we went to feed the pigeons.. Don't ask me why okay.. we just do.. The youngest one gets excited to feed them but because of her tiny hands and short arms she can't throw the food very far and they end up surrounding her and she panics. Hilarious We sometimes feed the fishes at the Botanic Gardens in Putrajaya... They've got crazy amount of fishes there!  (Bring some bread with you when you go!) Came home and realized my elder daughter finished off 2 boxes of pencils!! It's like she uses 3295872409 pencils in a month!  (you didn't bother reading the entire number now did you.. nevermind coz I simply typed it out) Using pencils to write?  Or eating them...

Gosh I'm tired.. tired of arguing with people who test my IQ and patience levels... . The contractor next door is one lazy ass!! After telling him off about the cables that are in our house, he proceeded to call the so called "tnb licensed" contractor and to my 'horror'.. It was yet another lazy ass God help me deal with stupids. It was then I realized how true this saying is... Birds of a Feather, Flock Together Con: Oh cannot move it. must be like this. TNB guidelines say must be like this.. you see that green  house that side..  Me: Eh, that green house, his cable is in HIS house. Not his neighbours house. This one is in MY house. that also don't understand ah???? [continues to argue with me till I say] "You very clever, come and do this bullshit while I am not home, now I can and will charge you for BREAKING AND ENTERING PRIVATE PROPERTY" his face when I said that..... Hmm, where to start... Well, I have actually been drawn to tattoos since I was about 14.. they always amazed me but back then they were always associated with Gangsters.. Even so, I knew that one day I would get one myself.. and would probably have an entire left sleeve before I died... it's on my bucket list! During a trip to Thailand (I was actually supposed to get one there but chickened out coz the places I went to didn't seem to be clean.. my kinda clean)  I sent a text to my cousin Adam who is somewhat involved in the tattoo scene.. he sent me a link..  Instagram @tattoos_by_linthepixie   He said "This one is Lina's work...See if you like her designs first" I clicked on the link and saw her designs.. My heart went  "S he's the one" Adam then passed me Lina's number and I contacted her You know sometimes there are human beings out there that you can just click with?  Lina was one of them.. we star...

(Yawnsssssssssssss) [ better get blog updated if not pooooor father will have nothing to read today]  [HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA HI DAD :P] Good morning my fellow human beings.. Let me tell you what happened yesterday.... We got up, packed the car, got the kids showered and ready then off we went for brunch with mum and dad Kuey Teow Kiaaaaaaa.. die die must eat when balik kampung So almost all my food on the list got checked off, except for Goreng pisang and Kopok Lekor .. The journey back was.......... hellish (Johor stretch) Snails also faster... Found out that there was an accident being cleared so traffic was crawling for a while.. only positive side to this was I managed to hatch 4 Pokemon Eggs!!! Came back had a ton of things to do. laundry.. mopped the house ( neighbour's construction seems to be never ending).. unpacked then went to get the fat cat Sunrise....  BUT!!! When we got back,  I noticed a package sitting ...

[ This post was delayed because my dad's laptop is old, and almost died, but my husband repaired it and now it's working fine again!] Yesterday, after that disappointing trip to the pasar pagi , the day got happier because.. FOOD!! For lunch....  Pork trotter    Vege Bakuteh!!! I was going to upload them and update yesterday's post but.. got kinda busy napping for 3 hours Since I didn't get my fix of Wantan Mee yet.. That was dinner!   Medium noodles, EXTRA CILI PLEASE! Giant bowl of wantan This morning, I decided to give the pasar pagi one more try.. mana tau la kan.. AND IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER!!  Chai tau kueh uncle is alive.   And frying Tadaaaaaaa Another favourite pakcik of mine was there today too!!!  Pakcik Apam dah balik from Raya!!  Oooooooohhhhh....... Panas lagiiiiii.... Pasar Pagi was very very colourful this morning...

Excitement in Jb is waking up early and going  " shopping" at  the pasar pagi..  so many fruits!!  But today's pasar pagi was very disappointing....... :( Usually, I'll buy my Chai Tau Kueh and Apam Balik .. today, No Apam Balik (okay la can forgive coz yesterday raya haji kan)  but NO CHAI TAU KUEH???  UNFORGIVABLE!!  YOU ALSO RAYA MEH CHAI TAU KUEH UNCLE??? :( So sad but still needed to get something for breakfast.. Don't want people passing out at home from hunger....  Karipap  Nasi lemak bungkus Pau Came back home, had a karipap , then decided...  "Okay I better do some gardening before the sun starts shining in my face and blinding me.... also.. before my mother wakes up and decides to 'supervise' me" My parents have a mini jungle.... The last time I balik-ed kampung was probably in March? April? See, it's been a while now that I can't even remember anymore We left about 9ish this morning and YIPPEE !!! the highway was CLEAR!!  Oh yeah.. It's the Hari raya Haji Holidays today too! Since the kids were asleep, [ my kids are fantastic travellers!]  and husband was listening to his Oldies from England, I decided to take out my Kindle and try to finish off my book.. Before I knew it, we crossed the Johor border and I didn't even realize it!! So fast??!!  To think I wanted to take a picture of it too ☹️ Anyway, stopped at the Tangkak rest house and FYI!! they are upgrading it so the parking is limited. And by limited I mean probably 10 cars park at the side of the road and it will create a massive traffic jam so if you are one of those who kenot tahan   your wee anymore, I suggest you stop at the one before or after Tangkak! (Even more so ...
