Thailand, Bacterial Infection and Award Ceremony

So we were in Thailand during the weekend but we couldn't enjoy much as one by one we were attacked by the bloody Bacterial infection.. 

Vomiting and the runs.. 

Started with The Husband, then The Eldest, Myself and then The Youngest...

Rushed back to see the Dr and we have a mini pharmacy at home right now. 
The Husband and the Youngest are still not feeling too good so there's me, keeping watch like a hawk.

I feel like a zombie.

Every time I try to sleep and The Youngest makes a sound, I wake up and check on her. 

Then there's the Fat Orange cat who freaking meows outside our door because he's an attention seeker.

Had to use all the patience in me not to throw him out of the house this morning.

Yesterday, The Eldest went for her Award Ceremony.. I kinda told the teachers that we would be late because.. you know.. perasan  VVIP hahahha

Best part was we were thinking, "Okay la agak agak 4-5 awards la kan... First place, English x2, Maths and Arab maybe? So no need to bring bag, we can carry them"

Okay... kena bawak beg...

A few of her teachers actually sent me a message the day before saying BRING A TROLLEY BAG!!

I was like.. hmm.. no need kot.. so few.. trolley bag?

The Eldest surpassed all expectations this year, and The Principle actually told her to bring a trolley next year hahahaha

Good thing about being in a small school is that all ceremonies involving students are over and done with in record time!!

I would like to thank My couzzy Maria for tagging along with us.. love you muchy muchy...

The Sister was taking screenshots from the live video I posted and I think she was the first person to post pics of The Eldest taking her awards... AND SHE WASN'T EVEN THERE!!! kiasu and more excited than anyone else  BUT I STILL LOVE YOU DIK!!

F4 viewed the video later on as seriously this time the video went live at a really awkward hour... Usually it's in the mornings... This time I arrived at school at 2.30pm and she went on stage at about 3pm

We have a Gang Bas Stop outside school which consists of us parents who send and pick our kids everyday.. we're a close knitted group and even the spouses are friends...

We have kids in all standards and yesterday, we bagged so many awards it was ridiculous!!!

Superbly proud of us!!

Standard 1 = First plus 5 awards
Standard 2 = First plus 4 awards
Standard 3 = Peningkatan Terbaik Award
Standard 4 = First plus 6 awards
Standard 5 = First plus 11 awards 
(Yes Tash is crazy.. so crazy his mother had to go on stage to help him carry his awards!!!)
Standard 6 = Second plus 2 awards

WE totally rock.

All in all it was a good afternoon...... till I got home.

The Youngest had her nap and woke up reaaaaaaaaaaaaally cranky at 6pm.. I knew something wasn't right.. true enough she vomited.. and did so another 4 times till 8pm.. went to the clinic yet again and decided to take a referral letter just in case things got worse.

She came home, took a big dump, and was up and about screaming and jumping once more.. 

I hope she's fine today.. and of all the things on the planet.. I'm making PORRIDGE for lunch.... God help me.

Well, I need to go check on my magic porridge pot right now..

So after that really long hiatus due to The Eldest's final exams, I finally have the time to sit and blog about absolutely nothing at all.. once again... Oh God the exam stress was really bad for me but then again maybe I brought this onto myself.. by having kids. I know.. I know.. many others would say just let her go and do the exams  but as a parent, shouldn't we help them prepare for it if we know that it would help them a lot more? For me it was the cooking 3-4 meals a day that really made me tired!!!  Coz brain food needs to be shoved into every brain cell for at least a month nearing exam periods....  Now, she can live off junk food for a while.... So far the very few results that she's gotten back are alright.. but then I realized her teacher's kinda have higher expectations than me! And mine are already sky high. Kids, Kids and Kids.

It's Monday. Nothing happened yesterday. It was a typical Sunday in this household. Woke up early, sent the eldest for Taekwondo, came home, did laundry, went out for lunch, came back, was on my Kindle for most of the day.. finished off two books! ( yes I am a bookworm) Eldest has a history project that is due on the 12th.. but she finished it off yesterday so she has time to let her teacher check through it and correct it if there are any mistakes. Have you ever realized that going out, or the prep before going out takes way much longer when you have kids? Before kids.. going out consists of about 10 minutes where you just change your clothes and **poof** you're out the door. After kids.... wake them up, shower the youngest, give them some food in case they get hungry on the way out, pack their water bottles, wonder where your phone is, about to leave then your youngest decides " Oh! Uncle Maurice, Grandma, Additional Ink and Backbone

Today, The 22nd of January, is my Late Uncle Maurice's Birthday... the weather kinda sums up my mood.. gloomy.. rainy... that sorta feeling... I miss him whole lot but I know he's having a blast where ever he is... Happy Birthday Uncle Mau! You Seybok! In conjunction with his birthday, and my Grandma's in March.. also in loving memory of them.. I got this done during the weekend. Blue, is grandma, and it also represents luck...  Red is Uncle Maurice, and it also represents eternal happiness... But I swear the next time I do something that reminds me of someone...
