Pigeons, Pencils, and Camp

So the youngest one decides to wake up at 6.45am today.. 

God help me survive throughout this Wednesday



Super lazy to cook lunch for the kids so decided to go cari makan for them.. 

EVERYWHERE CLOSE... 

WHY LA!!


Got the elder one up and we went to feed the pigeons.. Don't ask me why okay.. we just do..

The youngest one gets excited to feed them but because of her tiny hands and short arms she can't throw the food very far and they end up surrounding her and she panics.

 Hilarious

We sometimes feed the fishes at the Botanic Gardens in Putrajaya... They've got crazy amount of fishes there! 

(Bring some bread with you when you go!)

Came home and realized my elder daughter finished off 2 boxes of pencils!!

It's like she uses 3295872409 pencils in a month! 

(you didn't bother reading the entire number now did you.. nevermind coz I simply typed it out)

Using pencils to write? 

Or eating them?


Kena lectured by her father nicely.. had to do maths also coz the father asked her to calculate the amount of money spent on allll her pencils..

I don't think she needs to bring like 50 pencils to school every day right.. 

Exam period yes, I make her bring extra because I don't want her to waste time sharpening pencils when she's in the middle of her paper

Other parents, please advice!!!

Headache.

Then there's this weather.. such a gloomy day today.. confirm baju tak kering 

 and this weather is giving me writers block because I'm sitting here and going.. 

 "nothing else to say today"

 Oh yes! now I remember something from yesterday.. eldest came home and said they're having some sort of Camp at the end of October into November.. So we googled the place.. and erm.. well..

No airconditioning
No water heater
Literally sleeping in tents.

Needless to say she went

"I am NOT going! Can you imagine the bugs and mosquitoes?!!"

this one is secretly very princessy but will deny it to the end

 Last year's camp was fantastic!

Chalets, aircon, heater...the full works!

This year, back to basics.

Then there's the "my best friend's birthday party is happening soon Mum!!"

 This will be my chance to use it to get back at her when she's being a pest.

 Don't behave = CANNOT GO!!!

On a positive note, it's Thursday tomorrow, then we have a 3 day weekend!!

So after that really long hiatus due to The Eldest's final exams, I finally have the time to sit and blog about absolutely nothing at all.. once again... Oh God the exam stress was really bad for me but then again maybe I brought this onto myself.. by having kids. I know.. I know.. many others would say just let her go and do the exams  but as a parent, shouldn't we help them prepare for it if we know that it would help them a lot more? For me it was the cooking 3-4 meals a day that really made me tired!!!  Coz brain food needs to be shoved into every brain cell for at least a month nearing exam periods....  Now, she can live off junk food for a while.... So far the very few results that she's gotten back are alright.. but then I realized her teacher's kinda have higher expectations than me! And mine are already sky high. Kids, Kids and Kids.

It's Monday. Nothing happened yesterday. It was a typical Sunday in this household. Woke up early, sent the eldest for Taekwondo, came home, did laundry, went out for lunch, came back, was on my Kindle for most of the day.. finished off two books! ( yes I am a bookworm) Eldest has a history project that is due on the 12th.. but she finished it off yesterday so she has time to let her teacher check through it and correct it if there are any mistakes. Have you ever realized that going out, or the prep before going out takes way much longer when you have kids? Before kids.. going out consists of about 10 minutes where you just change your clothes and **poof** you're out the door. After kids.... wake them up, shower the youngest, give them some food in case they get hungry on the way out, pack their water bottles, wonder where your phone is, about to leave then your youngest decides " Oh! Uncle Maurice, Grandma, Additional Ink and Backbone

Today, The 22nd of January, is my Late Uncle Maurice's Birthday... the weather kinda sums up my mood.. gloomy.. rainy... that sorta feeling... I miss him whole lot but I know he's having a blast where ever he is... Happy Birthday Uncle Mau! You Seybok! In conjunction with his birthday, and my Grandma's in March.. also in loving memory of them.. I got this done during the weekend.
