Uncle Maurice, Grandma, Additional Ink and Backbone

Today, The 22nd of January, is my Late Uncle Maurice's Birthday... the weather kinda sums up my mood.. gloomy.. rainy... that sorta feeling...

I miss him whole lot but I know he's having a blast where ever he is...

Happy Birthday Uncle Mau! You Seybok!

In conjunction with his birthday, and my Grandma's in March.. also in loving memory of them..


I got this done during the weekend.

Blue, is grandma, and it also represents luck... 
Red is Uncle Maurice, and it also represents eternal happiness...

But I swear the next time I do something that reminds me of someone... THEY ARE NOT GETTING IT IN COLOUR BECAUSE IT REALLY HURTS AND STAB DIE ME.

Doing this means I got to see Lina! yap yap yap all the way la two of us... 

There was this guy there with me who was getting the name of his wife on his spine.. I was all awwwwwwwwwwwww... think her name had about 7 alphabets all together....

I like how he thought his phone + earphones were going to keep him from feeling the pain..... 
HE WAS SOOOOO WRONG!!

When Kev started, he was already twitching... and facial expressions were hilarious!! If only I had my phone with me at that time hahahahhaa

Second alphabet, I don't know why I looked at him but all colour had drained from his face and I told Lina "Babe, he gonna vomit dy.." 

Kev stopped and got him a RedBull... Relaxed for about 10 minutes then sat back down..  He asked Kev "How long more?".... I mean dude.. you're at your second letter... when Kev replied about 1 hour left to go.. the guys eyeballs looked like they were gonna pop out of their sockets!!! 

I laughed. And laughed. Lina rolled her eyes at me but I could see her smirking as well.

The Kids and Husband were there with me, and me cousin Gary came by to give "moral support" too!  And to take The Husband out for makan while I sit there getting stabbed over and over again at my own will...

The Youngest makes Shipwreck seem like her second home.. just happily doing what she wants to but does not get in the way or simply touch things! Mainly dancing in front of the mirror and laughing but it entertains us.. Lina get's worried when she hears The Youngest, but can't see her anywhere!!!

The Eldest however, major distraction. She was walking about then happened to stop at the store room.. and decides to ask 
"Aunty Lina, why do you have so many tissue rolls? You have tissue parties ah?" 
[insert action of throwing tissue rolls up in the air]

Lina was all "HA???? Tissue party?????"

Laugh cannot stop man with The Eldest.

When I was done, I went to check on Backbone.. yes that's what I've nicknamed him.. He was almost done.. I told him YOU'RE ALMOST DONE BRO!! but......... after 3 days it's gonna itch like hell....

He went WHAT??? AND I SWEAT A LOT!!

Well, he clearly didn't do ANY research before getting inked now did he... and on his spine.. wow that's gonna take a lot of effort trying not to scratch the itch hahahahahahha

Anyway, I've got an Aunt coming from Australia this weekend... and all we've got on the list is Makan... 

Alrighty then, I need to make a list of who I'm giving out ang paus to this year... Like Santa, I have a Naughty / Nice List...

So after that really long hiatus due to The Eldest's final exams, I finally have the time to sit and blog about absolutely nothing at all.. once again... Oh God the exam stress was really bad for me but then again maybe I brought this onto myself.. by having kids. I know.. I know.. many others would say just let her go and do the exams  but as a parent, shouldn't we help them prepare for it if we know that it would help them a lot more? For me it was the cooking 3-4 meals a day that really made me tired!!!  Coz brain food needs to be shoved into every brain cell for at least a month nearing exam periods....  Now, she can live off junk food for a while.... So far the very few results that she's gotten back are alright.. but then I realized her teacher's kinda have higher expectations than me! And mine are already sky high. Thing is, we know she can do it.. we know she can score fantastically IF SHE STOPS HER SILLY MISTAKES PHASE. God, please le...

Kids, Kids and Kids.

It's Monday. Nothing happened yesterday. It was a typical Sunday in this household. Woke up early, sent the eldest for Taekwondo, came home, did laundry, went out for lunch, came back, was on my Kindle for most of the day.. finished off two books! ( yes I am a bookworm) Eldest has a history project that is due on the 12th.. but she finished it off yesterday so she has time to let her teacher check through it and correct it if there are any mistakes. Have you ever realized that going out, or the prep before going out takes way much longer when you have kids? Before kids.. going out consists of about 10 minutes where you just change your clothes and **poof** you're out the door. After kids.... wake them up, shower the youngest, give them some food in case they get hungry on the way out, pack their water bottles, wonder where your phone is, about to leave then your youngest decides " Oh!
