Drain, Maria and Antipendis

What an eventful day so far..

Youngest again woke up early so fed the pigeons and this time they were all waiting for her hahaha 

Like "The Small person has arrived!!!"

Neighbour dropped by with their oh-so-cute 2 year old grandchild and he got a lollipop from me! 

Contractor got hell from uncle coz honestly.. omg.. his work is crap!

Last night, cousin Maria texts and says she's at the clinic.. lower right side of her stomach hurts so they did a urine and blood test, found out that she's got an infection and possibly might be appendicitis.

She then gets a referral letter to head on to the hospital and yiippee!

 CONFIRMED APPENDICITIS.

My Eldest, in a panic mode, tells her dad:

"Aunty Maria is in the hospital.. Antipendis"

Husband was clearly blur by this and asked me what happened so I said Yeah.. Appendicitis.

He went "Oooooohh Appendicitis la... Antipendis pulak"

Updated the sister and cousins and we're all now calling it
Antipendis

Maria will be going in for her op at 10ish.. which is in about half an hour.. and we'll all be seeing her tonight..

Hopefully she recovers well 

I AM GOING TO BAN YOU FROM YOUR COFFEE FOR A MONTH AND THROW AWAY YOUR BANTAL BUSUK IF YOU ARE STUBBORN. 

YOU WAIT AND SEE MARIA MACKEN.

Oh.. Now neighbour's wife is making noise and I am trying to eavesdrop but the drilling is driving me deaf and insane.

Just glanced outside, and they're all looking at his masterpiece of a drain.

Think he's trying to make an illogical excuse as always, as the wife's voice has gone up several octaves now. 

Anyway I got to go as I think the Youngest is starving.

So after that really long hiatus due to The Eldest's final exams, I finally have the time to sit and blog about absolutely nothing at all.. once again... Oh God the exam stress was really bad for me but then again maybe I brought this onto myself.. by having kids. I know.. I know.. many others would say just let her go and do the exams  but as a parent, shouldn't we help them prepare for it if we know that it would help them a lot more? For me it was the cooking 3-4 meals a day that really made me tired!!!  Coz brain food needs to be shoved into every brain cell for at least a month nearing exam periods....  Now, she can live off junk food for a while.... So far the very few results that she's gotten back are alright.. but then I realized her teacher's kinda have higher expectations than me! And mine are already sky high. Kids, Kids and Kids.

It's Monday. Nothing happened yesterday. It was a typical Sunday in this household. Woke up early, sent the eldest for Taekwondo, came home, did laundry, went out for lunch, came back, was on my Kindle for most of the day.. finished off two books! ( yes I am a bookworm) Eldest has a history project that is due on the 12th.. but she finished it off yesterday so she has time to let her teacher check through it and correct it if there are any mistakes. Have you ever realized that going out, or the prep before going out takes way much longer when you have kids? Before kids.. going out consists of about 10 minutes where you just change your clothes and **poof** you're out the door. After kids.... wake them up, shower the youngest, give them some food in case they get hungry on the way out, pack their water bottles, wonder where your phone is, about to leave then your youngest decides " Oh! Uncle Maurice, Grandma, Additional Ink and Backbone

Today, The 22nd of January, is my Late Uncle Maurice's Birthday... the weather kinda sums up my mood.. gloomy.. rainy... that sorta feeling... I miss him whole lot but I know he's having a blast where ever he is... Happy Birthday Uncle Mau! You Seybok! In conjunction with his birthday, and my Grandma's in March.. also in loving memory of them.. I got this done during the weekend.
