Babysitters, Prison, and Freedom for Kids?

This morning, I woke up and saw this:

How? Why? What? 

Are people really so mental these days that they take out their sexual tension on infants? On kids? What kind of psychopaths are these so called human beings...

She's 9 months old... can you imagine? Even adults who get raped go through massive trauma (if they survive and not get murdered in the process).. Can anyone imagine what sort of pain a 9 month old baby girl had to go through? No one. Not you. Not me. No one will ever know.

How do parents find a proper babysitter for their child? Like the mum of this girl said, when she went to visit the babysitter, all was fine and good.. because the babysitter's husband was not around while she was there... maybe if she saw his bloody face it would have made a difference. 

For me, I honestly don't trust anyone with my kids.. That's why I've been a stay at home mum for 10 years now and I'm not going to go back to the hectic life of work anytime soon.. 

You see, when The Eldest was born, I had all the ideas in the world of going back to work.. you know, find a babysitter and leave her there all day long, come back at 7pm and get her and send her over again in the morning.

But there were signs. signs that lead me to stay at home and look after her myself... Believe it or not, when all these thoughts of sending The Eldest to a babysitter were swimming about in my head, the news told me an entirely different story. 

Everyday we would hear things about babies being abused by their babysitters, being hit so hard on their heads that they ended up in a coma, being raped... BABIES!!! Those small, harmless little human beings.

Who does this? It was then I knew that no matter what happened, come heaven, hell or high water, I was going to stay home. This decision was discussed with The Husband, and after checking our finances, we decided yeap, I'll stay home and take care of her.

Sometimes others have no choice but to send their kids to someone as 1 persons income might not be able to cover their costs of living... Loan payments for car and homes already take a huge chunk out of their earnings and what they have balance might not be enough to last the month.

But how? How do you choose a babysitter for your child? I have always wondered what sort of emotions run through parents minds when selecting one, and how do they leave their kids with a total stranger every single weekday?

I mean if you're leaving them with say your parents, in laws, sister, cousins.. or someone you actually know then I guess it's somewhat less tensed? less stressful? I don't really know how to describe this because I've not gone through it.

What a way to start a Monday morning... I hope Baby Zara's parents have the peace they need to go through such a hard time... and I hope the babysitter's husband ROTS IN BLOODY HELL!!!

DO YOU KNOW THAT IN PRISON...

THE MURDERERS, THE GANGSTERS, THE DRUG LORDS, THE ASSASSINS....

THEY ALL HAVE AN UNSPOKEN RULE...

ANYONE WHO HURTS A CHILD, DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE CALLED A HUMAN, LET ALONE BE ALLOWED TO LIVE.

YOU RAPED AND ABUSED HER.. AND SHE DIED.

LET'S SEE WHAT THEY DO TO YOU IN PRISON EY?

THE REST OF THEM MAY HAVE KILLED SOMEONE, BUT IT CERTAINLY WAS NOT A 9 MONTH OLD CHILD.

JUST BE CAREFUL... 

YOUR ASS HOLE MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIT A WATERMELON INTO IT AFTER 2 WEEKS.

I think Malaysia needs stricter rules on Child abuse.

Like sexually abuse a child, and we rip your guts out.

That kinda thing.

Or hang them upside down and naked on a tree, then release an army of big fat red ants...  while we sit, eat popcorn and watch what happens.

This should not be happening!!! Nowadays, kids don't go out of their houses to play.. in our time if we were indoors, we would be chased outdoors.. but now, I don't even allow my kids to stand in front of the gate!!!

The world has changed so much since we were kids... yes we have more access to knowledge and information, but being a human wise.. we suck big time. Back then, if an adult saw you wandering about without your parents, he or she would take you to the information counter, or the nearest police station... Now? you'd probably end up in a lorry heading somewhere, bounded and ready to be cut open for organs... or someone might find you in a bush.. dead.

How are we expected to let our kids live? like how we did.. to me this is quite humanly impossible right now... the saying set them free.. is also like saying "yeah just let them be.. and IF they come back, its all good"

If they come back.. what if they don't?????? Then what???? make another one??? 

You can call me a paranoid parent but my kids are my life.

Washing machine is singing and so I'm off to dry my laundry before the sun decides to not shine.

I am fairly confused.. The Start reports Baby Zara to be 9 months old, and NST says she's 11 months..
