Pikachu, Scotland and Public Holiday

Ahhh I finally managed to complete my McDonald's Happy Meal Pokemon Collection!!
Damn Pikachu was sold out in mere hours.. But after sending an SOS messages to The Sister and Cousins..

Pikachu is now MINE!!

Seriously, to the people who buy happy meals.. don't just buy one toy.. you can't just say "oh I only want Pikachu.."

what about totodile, meowth, magikarp and the rest of them?

DONT BE SELFISH!!!

The rest of the Mons need a home too you know.. Pikachu will be lonely!!

As their slogan says.....

Gotta catch 'em all!

ALL! not Gotta Catch Pikachu.

According to Lina.. I'm using my kids to cover for my Pokemon addiction and she's not entirely wrong here but The Eldest also likes Pokemon so we share a common understanding that anything Pokemon, must be complete haha

Anyway, last night we went out for dinner at Setia.. near Maria's future apartment.. The Eldest was wearing her Scotland Jersey

This one...

After ordering her food, she sat down and out of no where this guy pops up at our table, stares at her jersey and goes "That's a Scotland Jersey!!! I'M FROM SCOTLAND!!!"

Asks me where we got it from, and why Scotland?

I said I'm part Scottish, I'm a Mackenzie.... His eyes start twinkling and goes Mackenzie!!! I'm a MacGregor!!! With the darnest blue eyes ever.

and we shake hands.

Says great see you soon! then turns to leave..

When he sits down at his table, I realized that he probably is a superhuman as there is no way in hell I would have noticed a badge from that far!!!

Oh well, probably made his day knowing that there was a 10 year old wearing a Scotland Jersey walking about in Malaysia.

When we got back from dinner, Lynne dropped by with Rambutans and Really Obese Bananas. The Rambutans are so sweet and juicy!!! Yet to poke the banana today to see if they are alright for consuming... I don't want to be eating soapy bananas.

It's a public holiday in Selangor tomorrow.. Sultan's Birthday and kesiannnnn The Husband as he's office is in KL... Anis too..

Sigh, I am waiting for the 17th to pop around the corner, then I can head to the school bookshop to get the necessary things and subsequently put my back to school headache to rest.

Oh! Yesterday, I asked The Eldest to try on her uniform again to see if we needed to get new sets.. and yeap, we need to get new sets as none of it fits anymore!!

We're what? just into the 3rd week of holidays?  Wow. Kids these days grow at alarming rates!!!

Ah, the washing machine is singing, so am off to sun the clothes before the blasted rain arrives.

UPDATE!!

I JUST REALIZED.. MY COUSIN GARY, IS OLDER THAN MY UNCLE GAVIN..

MIND BLOWN .
