I'm Sorry!!! REALLY!!! BUT I HAVE REASONS!
Hello everyone!
I know I have been neglecting my blog recently but there are 1020392190723985427 reasons why!!
The Youngest has started kindy and so my day now begins at 5.45am
There's the preparing breakfast and sending The Eldest off to school, coming back and getting The Youngest up and ready, sending her off, marketing, laundry, prepping lunch, picking them up, lunch, making sure homework is done, prepping dinner, dinner and making sure they are asleep early and not at some ungodly time!
Tons of things have happened since the last time I updated this space...
Let's start with Christmas.
Christmas this year.. well... Hmm... wasn't that happening really... maybe this is how we start feeling once we get older and no one can hang around for hours on end anymore?
Christmas Eve dinner was a feast tho!! Loved every minute of it!!
Then New Year's Eve was spent with The Sister, The Brother in law, The Cousins and The Uncle who came over for a BBQ, watched fireworks and then we all went to bed and met up again for lunch! Maria cooked us Mee Siam for New Year's Day and it was yummeh!!
School started and God the traffic, even at 7am is maddening..
Why are there always parents who stop in front of the gate, sit in the car for 10 minutes with their kids, come out, get their bags for them, betulkan their rambut la this and that, watch their kid go in, and then get back in the car and proceed to check their phone for another 213123213 hours before they leave?!
IF the kid mentioned is currently in Standard 1, okay I will understand, but YOUR CHILD IS IN STANDARD 6 FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!
I do the stop, kiss goodbye, she gets out of the car, I leave method. Less than 2 minutes really.
And this method does not create a massive traffic jam of parents waiting to chuck their kids at school!!
I have been observing parents/caretakers/transports dropping off their kids recently and wow... it amazes me how they can pack so many kids into 1 vehicle....
This has been the observation so far:
Citra - 12 kids.
Kancil - 11 kids
Axia - 11 kids
Amazing is it not?!
Are the kids able to breathe in the car? I really wonder.
Ah yes, yesterday on the way back from picking The Eldest, we almost got into an accident thanks to this stupid woman who 1, was not using her seat belt, 2, didn't bother looking out for oncoming traffic, and 3, thought her face would save her from being given the death stare.
We were |----| this close to being hit.
Also on Sunday, same thing. Different driver, Still in Klang. Another stupid face.
We're not in the 1940's where there are hardly any cars on the roads... so USE YOUR DAMN EYES TO LOOK BEFORE COMING OUT OF A JUNCTION. EVEN IF THEY ARE SQUINTY EYES, I AM PRETTY SURE YOU CAN STILL SEE WITH THEM RIGHT?!
Anyway, The Youngest has been home because the spreading of germs/viruses/bacteria crap in kindy has started.. she's down with a really bad cough and runny nose.. Maybe she needs a space suit.
Sigh, well so much has been happening but I honestly can't recall most of it now as I am beginning to have old people's brains these days..
I blame the 5.45am mornings and dealing with the kids all day till they go to sleep.
God, help me keep my sanity.
