So after that really long hiatus due to The Eldest's final exams, I finally have the time to sit and blog about absolutely nothing at all.. once again... Oh God the exam stress was really bad for me but then again maybe I brought this onto myself.. by having kids. I know.. I know.. many others would say just let her go and do the exams  but as a parent, shouldn't we help them prepare for it if we know that it would help them a lot more? For me it was the cooking 3-4 meals a day that really made me tired!!!  Coz brain food needs to be shoved into every brain cell for at least a month nearing exam periods....  Now, she can live off junk food for a while.... So far the very few results that she's gotten back are alright.. but then I realized her teacher's kinda have higher expectations than me! And mine are already sky high. Thing is, we know she can do it.. we know she can score fantastically IF SHE STOPS HER SILLY MISTAKES PHASE. God, please le...

Ola!! Well honestly, there isn't much to blog about these days other than the RAIN.. Also because The Eldest is due for her Final Exams in about 9 days so there's a mad rush of trying to stuff every bit of information into her head by then Not an easy task, but someone's gotta do it... Mother's in general, working or stay at home, tend to go ballistic when it's nearing the exam period.. why? because we want them to do well!!!  And many times, it can get frustrating as hell... especially when you've specifically told them  REMEMBER IT THIS WAY SO YOU DON'T MAKE THIS SILLY MISTAKE... Weekends are usually spent with family.. and the past weekend we did exactly that! Woke up on Saturday and thought hmmm.. what do we do today? Weather looked crappy. was either too hot or raining!  Then a message came in from Shah asking were we having dinner together? As usual the discussion about what to eat lasted longer than deciding if we were going to meet up.. You see, The Cousins try to meet up as often as we can.. It's becoming a habit of meeting up at least once a month but I realized that we ask each other every weekend if we're going for makan...   Ended up in Sushi Mentai Kota Damansara.. We collectively love this place as the food is great and cheap too!! Usually when we have lunch or dinner there, say 4 of us, the bill comes to about RM54... That includes udon, curry rice dish, salmon head, sushi, green tea, chawanmushi and takoyaki. THANK YOU SHAH FOR DINNER!!! Neighbours are funny creatures don't you think? When God said LOVE THY NEIGHBOURS...  He clearly didn't realize what idiots homosapiens would turn out to be. Take yesterday for instance... Sent The Eldest to school and when I reached home, parked the car, took The Youngest out of her car seat then my neighbour decided to ask me: "This one also yours ah?" while pointing at The Youngest I gave her a really 'what are you talking about' kinda face and said Yeah.... When my brain was actually telling me to say  "Oh no, found her at the side of the road and decided to pick her up and bring her home" Then she says "Oh, so you have 2 kids?"... Sigh With age comes all sorts of aches and pains.. and this is why I have been away for the past 5 days. It started on Saturday when I had a massive back pain due to my period.. It use to hurt a little but now it's like LIE DOWN OR FEEL LIKE DYING kinda pain.. So The Husband took The Eldest to her friend's birthday party while I sat home with The Youngest.. rather I was lying on the bed with my Kindle while she did what she wanted to Then Sunday, felt this pain that went all the way from my left ear right to my shoulder! Gah. hurt like mad and when I Googled, the result was?  "YOU ARE HAVING A HEART ATTACK" NEVER GOOGLE YOUR SYMPTOMS BECAUSE YOU WILL EITHER HAVE CANCER OR ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEART ATTACK Worried me to no end and I was actually frightened to fall asleep!  Just in case I didn't wake up.  Got up on Monday, and The Husband is down with a horrid flu... I decided since the pain was still there, I'd better go get it ...

Just Googled "How many days till Christmas" and OMG 90 days left!! Haven't got a clue what to get for who!! I love Christmas.  I really really really do! I get to see most of my family then and spend the day just insulting each other, eating, opening presents, talking, laughing.. and then the cousins start drinking and all hell breaks loose. Christmas's as a child was so amazing!  Everyone would travel back to JB and on Christmas eve we would all be at Grandma's for dinner..  It was such a kanchiong  time where we would be waiting for cars to arrive.. Woahhhh..  Yesterday's BM paper wasn't easy. It was so KBAT (Kemahiran Berfikir Aras Tinggi) / HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) Was this a good move by the Education Ministry? When the kids are so used to being spoon fed information during lessons?  And then there are the really useless don't make sense kinda textbooks that they are currently using. If you take a look at the current textbooks the kids are using, they are nothing like those we used back in our time.  Example, What is Photosynthesis?  In our time, we flipped the textbook and we could find the answer, probably in bold. Now? Flip then whole damn textbook, still cannot locate answer. And this is why there are millions of buku rujukan being sold!!!  When The Eldest is doing her homework, usually History or Science requires taking out textbook, revision books, buku rujukan  and sometimes even checking if what she found was right on the Internet. As I sit here typing this, all the Year 6 pupils would have started their first paper of the UPSR examination.... I've got students sitting for the exams too and honestly I wonder how their parents are feeling right now... A friend sent me a picture of the kids getting ready and still revising while waiting to be sat in the hall.. that picture made me feel all sorts of things but mostly I felt scared.. scared for the kids... and for their parents.. Update from parents who are currently at school show that PARENTS AND TEACHERS are more anxious than the kids who still seem to be in such a chilled out mood. Hmm.. maybe it's true then.. If you've prepared way ahead of time, there's no point getting all panicky.. but if you've not studied, well.. just pray your best will be good enough? Thank God The Eldest is not taking the UPSR this year coz I overslept today and woke up at 8.00am.. when the first paper starts at 8.15am Some parents ...

I generally dislike Thursdays and yesterday was the worst Thursday in a long while First, The Eldest was still not feeling too well but insisted that she needed to go to school because there were Math and Science class...sniffling all the way to school but when I picked her up.. her nose was clear!  ( Must be all the dust and germs in school helping her to get better)  Came home, sniffle sniffle.  Even with Tea tree and Eucalyptus Oil.  In the Afternoon, the TNB guy finally  came to check things out, but as usual, everyone comes at a bloody wrong time.. the time I am trying to get The Youngest to sleep!  GAH!! Had to leave her and go to the porch... she started wailing her lungs out.. then when I wanted to ask the TNB guy questions, the bloody neighbour uncle kept interrupting me!!!  Why do Men think that no matter what, they are more superior and smarter than women?  You're old, I give you that, you may be wiser...

Hey There! So there was no update yesterday as The Eldest was not feeling well on Tuesday and then jangkit  to me.. was feeling like crap the entire day Then there was the bloody tikus  running around.. But we managed to get it by the end of the day and now it's GONE! Curi la Rise punya makan somemore..   I used his food as bait! The Sister and Brother in Law came over to collect their massive amounts of cat food that was delivered to my place the other day.. coz FREE DELIVERY to Klang! I think it was Monday that we went to Taman Botani in Putrajaya... with 4 packs of bread to feed the fishes.. something wasn't right.. Bread floating in the water.. hmm.. usually these would be snapped up in mere seconds! Went around checking and there was absolutely no sign of any fishes.. What happened??? It used to be like this..
